Sonic...Furries...

Logging in, having the gallery as my main page. Settings to "newest" to check out all the wonderful right out of the oven art work. Something that really bugs me is the increase of Sonic the Hedgehog OCs and continuation of Furries drawings...These are my pet peeves here on the interwebs.

Firstly, Sonic.

Sonic is a great game I know that for a fact. Playing it gets my adrenalin pumping and makes me feel like going out and run. It's a fun game and all and even the show was pretty good. But what makes fans so dedicated to this that they'd draw themselves as these characters. Not even themselves but making their own storyline to these. It's not that bad when I think of it. Here's my counter argument, I like drawing Medieval stuff as to knights in shinning armor to damsels in distress. I like to make story lines for my own characters and make ridiculously heavy armor for them. So can this be compared to my own Sonic rant? Basically calling myself a hypocrite? Possibly. But there's another Sonic craze that just makes me loose it. Browsing DA I stumble on these drawings...looking at it in disgust. The drawing shows these "Sonic Kids" soiling themselves in their own...DIAPER? I mean okay...but DIAPER?! WHY?? (I will not mention the artists names so please don't ask)

Second, Furries.

I don't understand the hype about these but please care to share. Is it the years of Furcadia? The years of Neopets? The years of I don't know? What's the whole story about these Furies. I suppose that this can tie in with the counter argument I mentioned. But there's nothing I can really say. Besides Furry Porn and Conventions...
Thats a big LOLWUT to that.

it took me 30 minuets to make cause i wasnt sure to add bangs or not but it looked horrible then. haha. i just used my own template and added hair and copyed how you look like on your ID.
